The Uk, along with the world, has been transfixed on death through its sole focus on covid-19 for the past two years. However, such fixation has caused paralysis within society and the body of Messiah. Consequently, sections of society have been damaged, as evident within the economy and health care sector. Moreover, spiritually the church has neglected to gather together and meet with one another, as the church capitulated and accepted the propaganda espoused by the government and various institutions, instead of standing on the word of God. Furthermore, to support its reneging of the Great Commission and its capitulation to the government, denominations and church leaders twisted scripture to proclaim a distorted version of loving thy neighbour as oneself.[1] [2] Others, however, propagated that Jesus would have taken the vaccine.[3] Such claims show a person’s ineptness and lack of theological and Biblical knowledge while highlighting the unfamiliarity and extent of their relationship with the Messiah.
The consequence of focusing on death is that it restricts and paralyses a person from progressing spiritually. Believers are to focus on Messiah, on life which propels a person to action. Focusing on death –covid-19 – has shifted societies and the churches focus onto the Kingdom of the beast and the antichrist rather than on what God is doing.
If you can call it one, the pandemic has resulted in enslaving the world within a medical system. Therefore, we must understand that something else is around the corner if restrictions are lifted, but what? If we focus on what is transpiring in the natural, we will only respond reactively. However, if we seek the LORD and allow scripture to guide us, we will react proactively. We will be ready before whatever transpires next.
The Bible informs us that first, we will see slavery,[4] then peace will be taken away from the earth, and people will kill one another,[5] after which we will endure an economic depression and famine.[6] Then because people do not repent and turn to the LORD, events are compounded, and we see further devastation resulting in ¼ of the world’s population being killed by the sword – war – famine, plague and wild beasts.[7]
When the Lamb opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth living creature say, “Come!” 8 I looked, and there before me was a pale horse! Its rider was named death, and Hades was following close behind him. They were given power over a fourth of the earth to kill by sword, famine and plague, and by the wild beasts of the earth. (Rev. 6:7-8)
Thus, in light of what scripture states, we will soon witness peace being taken from the earth, which will result in war or multiple conflicts that will compound the already fractured economy. These events will usher in a depression more devastating than the Great Depression.
So, if God has already informed and warned His people concerning the days ahead, why do we need to focus on world events? Instead, we need to draw/remain close to the LORD and interpret events using the Bible. If we do this, we will always be ready and focused on the LORD, on life rather than death which brings fear, anxiety and uncertainty.
Since the start of the covid-19 conspiracy, I, like others, have been sounding the alarm regarding what is transpiring and urging people to prepare spiritually and physically. Sadly, people continue to procrastinate for whatever reason, although I would argue it is out of disbelief that they remain unprepared.
People have been conditioned to tune into government briefings via the news for the past two years. Society has become accustomed to sitting as passive receptors, programmed through government-sanctioned psychological warfare that brainwashes the masses.[8] [9] Psychologists have studied the effects of TV and how they programme a person. Have you not thought about why a TV programme is called a programme? When you watch TV, you are sent within a few minutes into a hypnotic state. Your brainwaves are lowered, and you go into an ‘alpha state’ commonly associated with meditation and deep relaxation. When in an ‘alpha state’, your subconscious mind is highly suggestible, creating memories that in turn alter a person’s beliefs. Furthermore, when in an ‘alpha state’, our natural abilities to consciously filter information are turned off. Therefore, unlike when reading, a person cannot critically analyse the information they receive.[10]
With this in mind, when people tuned into the daily government covid briefings, they were being programmed to conform. Furthermore, the action of tuning in has become, for most people, part of their daily routine. Thus, they continue to do so even when the daily briefings cease. Additionally, for psychological torture to be effective, it is not constant, but lulls are given to bestow a sense of safety, evident in the good cop bad cop scenario.
The question is, have you been sucked in through passive hypnotic programming? For most who read my writings, I would say you have taken the red pill and are awake or being awakened. Sadly, however, most are fast asleep, being led like lambs to the slaughter. So, how do we wake up – free people from the matrix?
And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing. 4 The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel that displays the glory of Christ, who is the image of God. (2 Corinthians 4:3-4)
We need to understand that we are in a spiritual battle – a war that is being waged for the souls of humanity and the throne of God.[11] Therefore, our primary weapon is prayer! We must put on the armour of God and use the sword of the spirit, which is the word of God, to engage the spiritual forces at work. [12]
For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Ephesians 6:12
When praying, we must understand that we cannot pray against what God has ordained. I mean that some prophecies will occur, and others will if people do not repent. The tribulation is going to happen! God will judge the nations! However, we can pray for people to be saved and repent, thus reducing the judgment’s severity.
If we try to merely wake people up to the physical reality and negate the spiritual, they might preserve their lives, but they will lose their souls. Without dealing with the spiritual dimension, a person is eternally lost.
If you believe that we live in a period when Bible prophecy is being fulfilled before our eyes, what are you doing about it? It is time for the people of God to get off their gluteus maximus and actively engage the enemy in prayer and the preaching of the gospel. If you do not feel you can preach, support someone who can in prayer and financially help them. Doing nothing is not an option!
Time is getting increasingly short. People are dying, and more are going to die without knowing God. Personally, I do not want to stand before God and say, ‘I did nothing because I could not be bothered or have the time’. We all have time; it is a question of what is our priority! We cannot leave it to the church because, for the most part, it is asleep and part of the problem. Thus, it is the responsibility of those who are awake to sacrificially give their time and resources to proclaim the Gospel of the Kingdom.
There is much work that needs to be done. People soon will be in great need. Hard times are ahead.[13] Thus, those who are awake must make ready to support others from what they have. First, we feed a person with the word of God, and then we feed them physically with food. We see Messiah doing this when he fed the five thousand. First, they gathered to hear him preach, after which He fed them, meeting their physical hunger.
Thus, while you spiritually make ready, I urge you to prepare physically while you can by storing up food and whatever else the LORD burdens you to get. Then when things get hard, you can share the love of God with the lost by helping them as you share the gospel. However, how you respond and sacrificially give depends on how you interpret world events. The good news is that God’s plans will not be thwarted, so the Gospel of the Kingdom WILL be preached throughout the world. However, we will give account for whatever we fail to do with the resources and gifts God has given us.
Globally people are in bondage. Peace has been taken from the earth.[14] [15] Judgment has been decreed. However, God always shows mercy when He judges. Thus, let us seek the LORD in prayer and repentance as we make ready for the return of our Messiah. Let us continue to be guided by the Holy Spirit to prepare spiritually and physically for what is coming.
