Why is the world in such a turbulent and chaotic state? Could the answer reside not in the physical realm in which we interact, but instead in the spiritual most do not believe exists?
Currently, we see a world in chaos as it engages in a global fight against a virus that many, across all spectrums of society and class, question its severity. However, regardless of one’s opinions and beliefs, the aftermath of what we refer to as Covid-19 is a reality. Globally the economy has been hit a deadly wound. Many believe that we will soon see a worldwide economic depression that is unprecedented in world history.
The World Economic Forum (WEF) believe that the answer to the economy and world ills is a ‘Global Reset’ that will see the formation of a New Global Community that lives in symbiosis with the planet’s ecosystems. Others, however, believe what is being proposed is a dystopic Brave New World.
Yet, what about the politically correct ideology that is being implemented in Scottish schools that allows a child as young as four to choose their sex and identity without their parents’ approval or input[1] – or the move, because of the heinous actions of one man, to audit UK gun holders that could see people have their guns confiscated.[2] Can you imagine if they took such action in America?
Additionally, we see conflict and rumours of war around the world. Now we are witnessing the collapse of Afghanistan due to Western nations withdrawing after allegedly establishing a working government. So we must ask, why has the West allowed Afghanistan to become a Taliban stronghold and what was the main purpose for Western nations to get involved in Afghanistan? We know the pretext was to capture Bin Laden but are people that stupid to believe that was the reason? Well, I will leave that up to you as many people have accepted the lie that the covid death jab is a vaccine and is safe.
So, what is happening globally?
In the Biblical calendar of the LORD, we are in the sixth month, referred to as Elul. It is the month prior to the fall feasts that are outlined in Leviticus 23. Many people incorrectly refer to these as Jewish feasts, but the Bible is very clear, they are the one true God’s appointed times.
The LORD said to Moses, 2 “Speak to the Israelites and say to them: ‘These are my appointed festivals, the appointed festivals of the LORD, which you are to proclaim as sacred assemblies. Leviticus 23:1
On a side note, these appointed times are a prophetic picture of the Messiah and reveal to those who seek truth, God’s plan of salvation, redemption, judgment and renewal.[3] But what can these appointed times tell us about what is transpiring? Well, if, like me, you believe God is in control, then they have everything to do with what is happening today!
The Bible informs us that God resides over a heavenly court. A court that sits and passes judgment upon all of creation.
God stands in the divine assembly; He judges among the gods (divine beings). Psalms 82:1
When this heavenly divine court sits, Satan is permitted to come before God and accuse the brethren.
One day the angels came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan also came with them. 7 The LORD said to Satan, “Where have you come from?” Job 1:6
If you read the account in Job 1 & 2 you will see how Satan comes before the heavenly divine court and how he is permitted to come against Job, although God sets specific boundaries. However, we read in Revelation 12 that a day is coming when the devil – Satan is no longer permitted to come before God’s throne and accuse the people of God.
The great dragon was hurled down—that ancient serpent called the devil, or Satan, who leads the whole world astray. He was hurled to the earth, and his angels with him. 10 Then I heard a loud voice in heaven say: “Now have come the salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God, and the authority of his Messiah. For the accuser of our brothers and sisters, who accuses them before our God day and night, has been hurled down. Revelation 12:9-10
Consequently, Satan is thrown down out of heaven to the earth. Now on a side note, the devil was previously, because of his rebellion against God, removed from his position of directing the worship in heaven before God’s throne.[4] However, Satan was not prevented from coming before God when the heavenly council is convened. But, in a future event, the LORD stops Satan from attending the heavenly court because God is clearing out His house, and therefore, judgment has started. Remember, judgment starts in the House of God.[5] Now we know this is a reference to the body of Messiah, but it has a deeper meaning, one that sees Satan thrown out of heaven and down to the earth as God cleans His house and passes judgment – first in heaven and then on earth.
For it is time for judgment to begin with the family of God; and if it begins with us, what will the outcome be for those who disobey the gospel of God? 1 Peter 4:17
So, what has this got to do with what is transpiring today? Everything!
Currently, as I have already stated, we are in the sixth month in God’s Biblical calendar. This is a period of reflection prior to what is referred to as the fall festivals of the LORD, that of Yom Teruah – the Feast of Trumpets, also called Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement, and Sukkot, the feast of Tabernacles or booths.
The Feast of Trumpets – Yom Teruah is a time when historically the Kings of Israel were enthroned as kings and when they married. It is a time in Judaism when they celebrate and remember God as King over all creation. Additionally, it is a feast which we do not know the day or the hour because it commences on a new moon which requires two witnesses in Jerusalem. The days from Yom Teruah and Yom Kippur are referred to as the Days of Awe, which lead up to Yom Kippur, the day of atonement and judgement. During this ten-day period, the heavenly court sits and then judgment is sealed on Yom Kippur.
It is when this heavenly divine council sits that Satan comes and accuses the brethren. However, could we see Satan thrown out of heaven this year? Could it be when the council convenes this year that Satan is thrown down to the earth and thus wages war with the saints, especially as it is also the commencement of a new Sabbath cycle of a seven-year period?
Personally, I am watching closely this year. I am not saying it is, but I am watching to see if this is the time of judgment. If it is, we will see an intensification in the persecution of Israel[6] – both natural branches (House of Judah) and those grafted in (House of Israel/Ephraim).[7] [8]
However, we must understand that when this event does take place, be it this year or at a future event, the people of God can overcome the schemes of the devil, for scripture states in the same passage as that which records Satan being thrown out of heaven:
They triumphed over him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony; they did not love their lives so much as to shrink from death. Revelation 12:11
This is the same way in which God delivered Israel out of Egypt. The LORD saved them by His grace and through their faith in Him. They were saved by the blood of the Passover Lambs, the testimonies of how God had preserved them and how He had defeated the gods of Egypt and because they did not love their lives unto death. Putting the blood of the lambs on their doorposts could have cost them their lives. But they trusted, had faith in God and surrendered their lives to Him.
Similarly, we today must do likewise. We must apply the blood of the Lamb of God who was slain before the foundations of the world,[9] stand firm in faith as we remember the testimonies of God’s goodness and provisions in our life, and above all, we MUST surrender our lives to God. For it is no longer I who lives but Messiah in me.[10]
If people think what is transpiring is bad, then wait and see what happens when Satan has been thrown down to the earth. What we are witnessing currently, while it is a judgment, is enslavement. The only remedy for slavery is to cry out to God and seek Him in repentance. The month of Elul and the period prior to Yom Kippur is a period of reflection and repentance. It is a time when we audit our lives.
At the moment we are witnessing the destabilisation of world institutions and nations to allow the creation of a New World antichrist Order. A headline reporting on Afghanistan states, “the gates of Hell”.[11] Well, soon, the hordes of hell will be let loose upon the earth. The only safe place is to put 100% trust in the LORD and submit to Him.
The new norm is one of subjugation and imprisonment. Thus, I urge you to be ready spiritually as you prepare physically for perilous times. Without the LORD, we will not withstand what is coming.
