Have you ever wondered what the Bible means when you read “The word came” to a prophet, such as Jeremiah or Ezekiel? It is simple, but most overlook it.

We read in the book of John.

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through him, and without him was not anything made that was made. In him was life, and the life was the light of men. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it. John 1:1-5

Now, here, John was speaking about Jesus—the Messiah, who is the Word who became flesh, the Word who was with God in the beginning and was God. The fact that John states, in the beginning draws the reader back to the beginning, to Genesis, in which the very first verse states:

In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. Genesis 1:1 (NIV)

However, we missed something critical that John would have known. In Hebrew, this verse reads slightly differently. It states:

In the beginning, Elohim, the aleph and tav, created the heavens and the earth.

Let’s delve deeper into this revelation. In Hebrew, the verse reads: ‘In the beginning, Elohim, the aleph and tav, created the heavens and the earth.’ what John is revealing here is that the ‘Word ‘, who was with God in the beginning – the alpeh and the tav, or in Greek the alpha and omega, is none other than Jesus, who is God.

Now that I have, very briefly, shown that Jesus is the Word. The next key point to understand is that when we read in the books of the prophets that the “Word came to” the prophet, this was not a booming voice from heaven but instead Messiah—the Word visiting and conveying with the prophet.

We see the same when God – the LORD, along with two angels, visits Abraham while he recovers from being circumcised and discusses what will happen to Sodom and Gomorrah. This, again, is Jesus before the incarnation. Remember, no one can see God and live, but then people see God face to face and live; a case in point is Moses, Abraham in the above account. So, what does this mean? Well, no one can see the Father and live, hence why they see the Word – Jesus, for it was in His image that Adam was created and whose image believers are being shaped.

You see, God is one, as stated in the Shema, but the Shema is also a prophetic utterance of what will be on the earth. For while God is one in Heaven, on earth, he manifests himself within the Trinity. However, a time will come when God will be one in the earth.

And the Lord will be king over all the earth. On that day the Lord will be one and his name one. Zechariah 14:9

The Shema, Deuteronomy 6:4-5 states something different in Hebrew from English.

Deut. 6:4-5 states:

Hear, Israel! Yahweh is our Elohim; Yahweh is one. So you will love Yahweh, the Aleph and Tav, your Elohim, with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your intensity.

Note again how it states the aleph and tav is Yahweh your Elohim. The Shema is stating Yahweh, the aleph and tav is one – echad. The word is one with God. We could spend eternity looking at scripture to reveal Messiah, but we must move on.

Now, I have outlined the above to show you Jesus is the Word – the aleph and tav as an introduction to a passage in Jeremiah. We read in Jeremiah 21:1, which is the opening for the following chapters, that it states, “The word came to Jeremiah from the LORD”. Now, what we see here is that Jesus visits and converses with Jeremiah.

Then, in Jeremiah 23, we read how God is grieved with the shepherds of Israel because they have failed to shepherd the sheep of His pasture. Consequently, God is going to judge the shepherds for being bad shepherds. It then states that God will shepherd His people. The name of the shepherd is “The LORD Our Righteous Saviour.”

Thus, we see that God will give His people, Israel, a righteous shepherd—Yeshua. So, when Messiah states in John that He is the good shepherd, He is referring to this. He is the LORD our righteous Yeshua.

Now, today, while there are many good shepherds, sadly they are a minority. Today, the body of the Messiah – the church is sick through the actions of bad shepherds who have failed to lead in true righteousness. Many shepherds today are unable to rightly divide the word of God. Instead, they show partiality – as they interpret scripture through a politically correct doctrine of demons.

The church is currently embracing an inclusive gospel.[1][2][3][4][5] Now, let me make it clear the Gospel is inclusive. It is available to all; however, to accept it, you must surrender your life and live according to the Bible.

Today, many pastors do not teach about sin or repentance because they don’t wish to offend. Some churches do not even want to mention the blood as they remember Messiah’s death and resurrection to not prevent people from attending the service – so as not to offend them.[6]

Many Pastors allow homosexuality, infidelity, sexual perversion, the practising of occultism, and mediums within the church. They fail to challenge and correct their sheep because they do not want to offend. The fact is that the gospel does offend! It should offend! However, we must always proclaim the undiluted word of God through love and show grace, but that does not mean we should not challenge sin.

Sadly, instead of challenging sin, many pastors and Christians choose to compromise the word of God, and therefore, instead of challenging the people committing sin, they challenge God and His word.[7][8] Furthermore, in doing so, they trample on the blood of Jesus. They make a mockery of the Gospel of Salvation.

Consequently, Pastors fail to challenge and prepare the people for the days in which we are living because they either do not know how to divide the word of God to understand the truth contained within it or they do not want to upset the people. Therefore, instead of being good shepherds, they are hirelings—seeking the approval of men instead of seeking to do the will of God.

Where are the people of God who will stand on His word? Where are the people who will challenge the false teachers, the pastors who preach a compromised, diluted gospel?

When does a diluted gospel become a false gospel?

Sadly, many churches, through inclusivity, are preaching a different gospel. It is not the Gospel of Jesus! Those who preach the inclusive false gospel do not fear God. Instead, they fear men. They have embraced doctrines of demons and thus preach a false gospel.

What is sad is that many attend such churches and have fallen foul of the false teachers. Why? because they did not have discernment or know the truth. The inclusive gospel appeals to the flesh. It does not require sacrifice. Instead, it allows a person to continue to live enslaved to sin, thus revealing the origin of this gospel.

Jesus came to set the captive free. Jesus came to die for the sins of the world. The devil, however, comes to rob, steal and kill.

The reality is the state of the church only further reveals the prophetic times we are living in and that judgment will soon come to the House of God. Remember, judgment will start at the House of God. For the love of many has waxed cold.

What has happened to believers picking up their cross and following the Messiah? What has happened to dying to self and living for Christ? Where are the ministers who die to self but live to Christ?

What about the words of Paul in his letter to the church in Rome when he admonished them, stating.

I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. 2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. Romans 12: 1-2

Oh, that the people of God would humble themselves and do as scripture states. Can you imagine what would happen in our nation?

It is time for those ministers who preach a false gospel to repent and call out to God. It is time for the men of God to arise and boldly proclaim the truth of God’s word.

Yes, we need to show love and grace to people. Yes, we cannot forget how much we have personally been forgiven. However, we cannot compromise the Gospel. We cannot water it down so it does not offend.

Death is death; sin is sin. The reality is people are dying without knowing the truth about God and hell.

If you are a pastor, I urge you to audit your life and your theology and seek the LORD. If you have embraced the politically correct doctrine or the inclusive gospel, or any other deceived doctrines, I urge you to repent and proclaim the truth. Time is short, and soon will run out.

If you attend a church that preaches these false gospels, I urge you to draw close to God, examine yourself, and then go speak and challenge the pastor and the church leaders. If they will not change, leave, shake the dust off your feet, and find a church that stands for truth. Then, prepare for judgment to come to the House of God.

I know the false prophets are proclaiming prosperity and revival that the LORD wishes to bless and restore. However, the reality is the message of the prophet should be one of repentance. It is a message for which the prophets were stoned.

One would have to be blind to think God is happy with the state of the church. Now, please do not think I am being judgmental for the sake of being critical. On the contrary, I am seeking to defend the truth and admonish people to repent.

Judgment is coming. Soon, the World will suffer great famine. Then it will know global war. Currently, peace has been taken from the world. Something that will only intensify.

The current state of the world is the direct result of the church’s failure to be salt and light.

The reality is that if Pastors truly understood our times, they would cancel all meetings and call the church to repent, fast, and pray. Oh, but that would conflict with the social Callander of the church.

Wake up! Look around you! People are going to Hell. Sin abounds. Judgment is here. What is your response? Sadly, you cannot say no one has warned you because the fact that you are listening means I have.

The Bible states that if God’s people who are called by His name will humble themselves, turn from their wicked ways and seek God’s face, then He will come from heaven and heal their land.

If pastors do not repent and call the people to gather to pray for mercy, the judgment that comes will be severe. We cannot change the reality that judgment is coming, but we can stem the severity. It can ensure people are prepared and in a right relationship with God.

If you are a pastor, what will you do when judgment comes? What will you tell your congregation when they knock on your door to lynch you? Soon, many pastors will hide from their congregations out of shame. Others will sadly take their own lives out of shame and despair.

The only consolation is God will raise up good shepherds to lead the people.

We will all give account when we die. Yes, for those whose names are written in the lambs book of life, it will be an appraisal of how we have lived. It will not be for condemnation. However, many during the days ahead are going to die without knowing God.

Will you answer the call and seek the LORD?

Will you draw close to the LORD in prayer and fasting as you surrender your life to God and commit to serving Him?

Time is running out. Judgment is here and will intensify. The church has a job to do at this time. But first, it must repent, and then, once done, it must boldly stand firm on the undiluted word of God, even if it costs them their lives.

The question is, what will you do?
